Let me explain the difference between the above individuals officiating your Ceremony and myself as your Celebrant. A Registrar, Priest, Vicar, Reverend as well as other religious leaders will officiate your wedding resulting in a Registered Marriage Certificate. The Registered Marriage Certificate is a Legal Document which determines your Tax benefits. Your Husband or Wife will automatically be deemed as your Next of Kin, although there is no reason why your partner, despite either being married or not, shouldn’t be named as your Next of Kin.

As your Celebrant, if you wish to hold a Registered Marriage Certificate for Tax purposes, I would advise you to arrange a Marriage Certificate with your local Registry Office, anytime either prior to or following your Wedding Ceremony with myself. The Registrar’s service will last approximately fifteen minutes, and cost approximately £100.00. If the Registrar is attending your wedding venue, this costs around £750.00 plus various expenses, you will not be able to choose who your personal Registrar will be.
